Overview:
The World Health Organization (WHO) celebrated the World Health Day for the first time in 1948. Since 1950, World Health Day has been celebrated on 7 of April. World Health Day aims to shed light on a specific health topic to put a high-priority aspect in the global health field in the spotlight. And to that end, 2021 was dedicated to creating a world with more justice and health.
World Health Day objectives:
- Support lower-income classes, and facilitating their access to healthcare services.
- Pay attention to environmental health.
- Highlight the importance of health economics.
- The themes of the World Health Day last year included: Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, comprehensive health coverage, depression, and others.
