World MS Day

The World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Day will be observed this year on May 30th under the theme: «My Invisible MS» to raise public awareness about MS symptoms, which may be invisible to people and felt only by the patient.

  • 2.3 million people live with MS globally.
  • MS is at least two to three times more common in women than in men.
  • MS is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system).
  • MS symptoms may differ greatly from person to another. The most common symptoms are fatigue, poor vision, and walking problems.

Official Date:
  • Globally: May 30th, 2019
  • Locally: Ramadan 25th, 1440H.

You don’t have to see my MS symptoms to believe them.
