Cancer is considered one of the most common diseases in the world, so the entire world united on the fourth day of February to save millions of people, as more than a third of all types of cancer can be prevented by increasing awareness among individuals in all countries of the world.
Facts:
- Currently, between 30% and 50% of cancer cases can be prevented by reducing risk factors for the disease.
- Detecting cancer early reduces the burden of the disease and provides patients with an adequate amount of treatment and care, knowing that the chances of recovery from many types of cancer increase if the patient is diagnosed early and treated appropriately.
Objectives:
- Reducing premature deaths from non-communicable diseases by 25% by 2025.
- Educating and raising community awareness about cancer diseases and ways to prevent them.
- Encouraging early detection and raising awareness of its importance.
