MOH Provides 80 Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances to Serve Pilgrims

   Within the framework of the continued efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health to preserve pilgrims' health, Dr. Tariq Al-Arnous, Director-General of Emergency Medicine and Chairman of Field Medicine Committee at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that the Ministry has provided 80 Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances in the Holy Places.  
According to Dr. Al-Arnous, a specialist doctor and a nurse will be working on each ambulance, in order to perform the required tasks optimally to pilgrims. He added that cars are equipped with the latest medical equipment available in intensive care rooms at hospitals. This helps save the lives of patients and the injured until getting to the hospital.
It should be noted that the ambulances are distributed in specific areas in the Holy Sites, with the aim to provide ambulatory services for pilgrims around the clock.
