The Director-General of Follow-up, Head of Hajj Follow-up and Evaluation Committee, Dr. Mohammed bin Jamman Abu- Habshah, that the committee continues its inspection tours of the hospitals and health centers based in the Holy Sites and at the entry portals, in order to ensure its technical and administrative readiness, in addition to detecting the shortcomings and taking the proper measures to set them right, in coordination with the competent authorities.
Dr. Abu-Habshah pointed out that the committee also aims to ensure the validity and efficiency of medical appliances, and make sure that there are sound emergency plans and alternative plans. He further explained that the committee has inspected 96 health centers in the Holy Sites in addition to hospitals, and noticed that the workforce is fully prepared, and facilities are fully equipped, affirming that work in ongoing as planned, with the help and guidance of Allah Almighty.
The Committee, Dr. Abu-Habshah added, has started its work on the 20th of Dhul-Qa`dah, 1432H, which falls on the 18 of October 2011. It makes every effort to provide high-quality curative and medical services for Hajj pilgrims, who are the guests of Allah.
