Hajj 1432

Minister's Message

In the name of Almighty God, glorified and exalted be He, and peace be upon His Prophet, Muhammed.

The services provided for pilgrims are paid colossal attention by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Royal Highness Second Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee – May God protect them. Among such services, health services have been receiving the

greater portion of attention and patronage. This is undoubtedly well reflected in the high level of health services provided by the government (represented by the Ministry of Health), which makes every possible effort in pursuit of offering the best and fullest preventive, curative and ambulatory health services for the pilgrims, at all MOH facilities based in the Hajj sites, and the roads leading to them.

The Ministry's keen interest in serving the visitors of the House of Allāh and His Holy Prophet's Madina proceeds from our unshakably intrinsic conviction that this is a great honor for us.

Furthermore, such an attitude conforms to the Ministry's everlasting slogan (Serving the Guests of Allāh Is Our Utmost Objective). Consequently, the Ministry pays thorough attention to all about health services, and harnessing all the Ministry's capabilities for the attainment of best-quality health services during the Hajj season, according to the MOH various plans and health programs.

Through its plan for the 1432 Hajj Season, the Ministry is seeking to provide pilgrims with health services, by means of organized and coordinated work between all the heads and members of the Ministry's committees and sectors taking part in the arrangement of this year's Hajj program, especially in the health facilities based in the Holy Sites and Madinah.

The issuance of this Health Guide is the culmination of gigantic efforts exerted by the Assistant Agency for Preventive Medicine, with a view to successfully accomplish the MOH plan aiming at heightening health awareness among pilgrims, thus preserving – through its medical tips and guidelines – their health and well-being both during and after the performance of Hajj.

To conclude, I pray for God Almighty to confer safety and prosperity on our beloved kingdom, and to protect our prudent governors and guide them to all that's good. It doesn't escape my notice, besides, to pray for Him, glorified and exalted be He, to accept the pilgrims' Hajj, and to bestow health and well-being upon them, so that when they are back home, they will be granted His forgiveness and salvation.

May Allāh grant us success!

             Minister of Health
Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah
