Facts:

Breast milk provides all energy and nutrients an infant need in its first months of life, and continues to provide up to more than half of a child's nutritional needs during second half of the first year, and up to a third during the second year of life.
Breastfed children perform better in intelligence tests, are less likely to be overweight or obese, and are less likely to develop diabetes in the future.
