Overview:
Scoliosis is a sudden or hereditary inclination of the spine that usually has no obvious causes, and most of the sufferers are adolescents (the age group is between 10-15 years).
Its treatment depends on the age and the severity of the curvature. One of the methods of treatment is a plaster cast or a plastic brace for children, or physical therapy for scoliosis in simple cases, or by surgery on the spine.
Objectives:
- Highlight the importance of early diagnosis and the effectiveness of bracing as early non-surgical care.
- Increase public awareness of scoliosis and related spine conditions through education campaigns and advocacy for local activities and community events.
