Overview:

Mental health is one of the basics of health in general, and one out of eight people in the world suffers from psychological conditions.
Mental health affects physical health, livelihood, and how to communicate with others. Mental health greatly affects adolescents and young adults.
Stress is how your mind and body respond to challenges and demands. Stress is divided into long-term and short-term. Stress happens from time to time, but it is not necessarily always bad, and prolonged stress is harmful to your health

Objectives:
  • Eliminate the stigma of anxiety.
  • Make treatment available to all people.
  • Increase community awareness about stress and how to control it.
Facts:
  • Stress for a long time harms your health in various ways, such as lowered immunity, stomach problems, sleep problems, and headache. It may lead to bigger problems such as depression, anxiety, heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
  • In 2022, the number of people suffering from anxiety increased by 26%.
  • Women are more affected than men by anxiety disorders.
  • Anxiety disorders are among the most common psychological disorders in the world, affecting 301 million people in 2019.​
