It is the care a pregnant woman gets from health care providers during pregnancy; To ensure her health and the health of the child. Follow-up should begin in primary care centers as soon as possible as soon as pregnancy is known. This can be done by booking an appointment and going to the nearest center to start follow-up and determine the path, where the following is done:
- Check the health of mother and child.
- Carrying out specific examinations and tests to ensure the health of the mother and fetus.
- Providing the mother with useful information for a healthy pregnancy, including advice on healthy eating and physical activity.
- Discussing choices for care during pregnancy, labor and delivery.
- Answering the mother's questions and concerns.
Pregnancy follow-up visits:
They are eight basic, timed visits during pregnancy, six of which take place in primary health care centers to follow up the pregnant woman who is eligible for the basic component of the maternity care program (she does not have a risk factor), and the last two visits are in the hospital after the transfer of the pregnant woman in the 36th week of pregnancy, and there are additional visits according to her needs and according to what the attending physician sees:

Ultrasound during pregnancy:
