Sunstroke or heatstroke is considered more dangerous than heat choking as it can lead to death, and it occurs when exposed to high temperatures, so the body becomes very hot, with a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and more, and it can happen after heat choking, and the injured person has a high body temperature and becomes restless and loses consciousness.
Symptoms:
- High body temperature of 40°C or higher.
- Heat, redness and moisture in the skin.
- Strong and rapid pulse.
- Headache.
- Dizziness and nausea.
- Unconsciousness.
- Seeing or hearing things that are not there (hallucinations).
First aid:
- Call an ambulance immediately.
- Move the affected person to a cool place.
- Help lower body temperature by using cold compresses and cold water.
- Avoid giving the affected person any liquids to drink.
