There are a number of kidney diseases. However, we focus here, in general, on kidney failure that requires dialysis, poor kidney function, and kidney stones:
- Consult the doctor to ensure that the Hajj can be performed, and to know the appropriate health instructions.
- The kidney failure patient shall be keen to do periodically dialysis during the Hajj period.
- Making sure to carry the prescribed medications and store them in a suitable and easily accessible place.
- Visit the nearest health center or hospital in the event of any disorders in the body, such as intestinal flu or urinary tract infection.
- Avoid exposure to the scorching sun for long periods, to prevent the loss of fluids and salts from the body.
- Not to eat a lot of meat and proteins so as not to affect the function of the kidneys.
