COVID-19 Vaccines:
All those wishing to perform Hajj, adults and children of five year or older, must submit a valid vaccination certificate proving that they have completed vaccination with the approved vaccines in the Kingdom.
2. Neisseria Meningitides Vaccine:
All those wishing to perform Hajj, Umrah or to be present in Hajj and Umrah areas for any other purpose, adults and children of (9) months or older, are required to present a valid vaccination certificate proving that they have received the (ACYW) vaccine at least 10 days before coming to the Hajj and Umrah areas.
- Before being vaccinated with one of the following vaccines:
Quadrivalent Meningococcal (ACYW ) Polysaccharide Vaccine, provided that the period since receiving the vaccine shall not exceed (3) years.
Quadrivalent Meningococcal (ACYW) Conjugate Vaccine, provided that the period since receiving the vaccine shall not exceed (5) years.
Scientific evidence indicates that the conjugate vaccine is effective and safe for those over 55 years old.
3. Seasonal Flu Vaccine:
Pilgrims from inside the Kingdom must get the seasonal flu vaccine at least 10 days before going to Hajj. It is specially for Hajj season and does not replace the vaccine taken in winter, although it is connected to it.
