To avoid Heat Stress:
- Avoid direct exposure to the sun.
- Avoid heat and crowds.
- Make sure to drink fluids (water and juices containing the necessary salts).
- Make sure to rest.
- Make sure to wear light-colored clothes (for women).
- Make sure to use light colored umbrellas.
Areas with a high number of heat injuries:
- Tawaf, especially at noon.
- Between the two small hills of Safa and Marwa, especially when it is very crowded and the air temperature is high.
- Mount of Arafat at noon.
- The valley of Mina (places of slaughter and the Jamarat), due to the long distance and crowding when throwing the Jamarat.
