Health Guidelines for Heart Patients

Page Content
In general, a heart patient can perform hajj rituals if his health condition is stable. However, he or she is preferred to:
Consult a doctor before going for Hajj to assess his health condition.
Take an adequate amount of medication, and keep it in a safe and appropriate manner.
Carry a medical card or medical report (showing the patient's condition and the medications he/she is taking).
Avoid excessive physical exertion, and use a wheelchair during Tawaf and walking between the Safa and Marwa, and when feeling stressed.
When the patient feels any chest pain or shortness of breath, he should immediately visit the nearest health facility.
