Dengue Fever and Zika Virus:
- Those coming for Umrah, Hajj, seasonal work or any other purpose in the Hajj areas are advised to take the necessary measures and precautions to avoid mosquito bites, use protective clothing (preferably light color), covering as much of the body as possible, and using insect repellent.
- In the event of a public health emergency of international concern - God forbid - or outbreaks of diseases subject to the International Health Regulations, the Ministry of Health will take additional measures other than the above, in coordination with the World Health Organization.
