Health Days 2020

The main goal of the Global Hand Hygiene Day is to recognize that handwashing is one of the most effective actions you can take to reduce the spread of pathogens and prevent infections, including the COVID-19 virus. • Washing hands with soap can reduce the rates of gastroenteritis by 23-40%.
  • Reducing the rates of school absenteeism as a result of gastroenteritis by 29-57%.
  • Reducing gastroenteritis among immunocompromised patients to58%.
