Health System Delivers More Than 182,000 Services to Pilgrims

The health system has delivered more than 182,698 healthcare services to pilgrims since the start of the 1447H Hajj season through the third day of Dhul-Hijjah, as part of integrated efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare services, safeguard pilgrims’ health, and support the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Vision 2030​, enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 32,772 beneficiaries received services through primary healthcare centers and urgent care centers. Emergency departments handled 20,825 cases, while 2,868 beneficiaries visited outpatient clinics. In addition, 2,887 patients were admitted to hospitals. A total of 190 surgical procedures were performed, including 135 cardiac catheterization procedures and 7 open-heart surgeries.
Medical teams also responded immediately to 12 cases of heat exhaustion and heatstroke as part of a field-based healthcare system designed to ensure rapid response and efficient medical intervention across various locations. Meanwhile, the Unified Contact Center (937) received more than 12,627 calls.
The health system continues to operate with high efficiency through proactive planning and an integrated, high-quality healthcare network, ensuring advanced and safe medical care for pilgrims while reaffirming its commitment to providing the highest standards of healthcare throughout the Hajj season.
