The Ministry of Health (MoH), in cooperation with the
Ministry of Tourism, is implementing a joint field inspection campaign targeting medical offices operated by Hajj missions within hospitality facilities and temporary pilgrim accommodations. The campaign aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to pilgrims, ensure the readiness of healthcare facilities during the Hajj season, deliver safe and reliable healthcare services, and strengthen compliance with approved regulations and requirements.
The campaign seeks to enhance coordination among participating entities, verify the legal operation and licensing of medical offices, and ensure compliance with approved health and regulatory requirements. It also aims to improve the quality of healthcare services provided to pilgrims, enhance their healthcare experience during Hajj, and identify any practices that may affect pilgrims’ safety or the quality of services delivered.
The campaign includes verifying compliance by Hajj missions and healthcare practitioners with health regulations and instructions, ensuring the availability of qualified healthcare professionals, confirming the safety, storage, and handling of medicines and medical supplies, verifying the availability of essential medical equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control measures as well as general hygiene standards to strengthen health safety across service environments.
The campaign also includes conducting joint field inspections and documenting the findings through the Daman platform to measure compliance levels, identify observations, implement the necessary corrective actions, and monitor continuous improvements. These efforts aim to enhance compliance, reduce unauthorized practices, strengthen pilgrim safety, support government integration, and improve the overall Hajj experience for the Guests of Allah.
