MoH Launches Inspection Campaign to Enhance Safety in Cosmetic Clinics

05 March 2026

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has launched an inspection campaign to enhance the safety of medical procedures performed at cosmetic clinics, ensure compliance with approved health regulations, and raise beneficiaries’ awareness of their healthcare rights. The campaign reflects the Ministry’s regulatory role in improving the quality and safety of healthcare services and protecting public health.
MoH urged beneficiaries to understand their rights when receiving healthcare services and not to undergo any medical procedure before providing written informed consent that clearly explains all necessary details to support decision-making. Beneficiaries are also advised to keep a copy of the consent form and to be informed of the initial costs of non-emergency services before treatment begins.
The Ministry noted that filler, Botox, and thread procedures must be performed under the supervision of a specialized consultant. Beneficiaries are entitled to receive a stamped product information card for the materials used, as well as review the healthcare practitioner’s license and academic qualifications, safeguarding their rights and promoting health awareness.
MoH emphasized the importance of beneficiaries being fully aware of their rights before undergoing any medical or cosmetic procedure. It also encouraged the public to report any violations through the 937 Contact Center, reaffirming its ongoing oversight efforts to protect public health and ensure the safety of healthcare services.
