The AlUla Health Network activated the Taakad campaign to promote health awareness and encourage community members to undergo preventive screenings and early disease detection, reinforcing the principle of prevention before treatment. The launch was attended by AlUla Deputy Governor Talal bin Faris Al-Faqir, Dr. Bayan bint Ahmed Al-Ahmadi, Director of Prince Abdulmohsen Hospital in AlUla, along with government representatives and community members.
The initiative targets citizens, residents, and visitors by providing 10 essential preventive screenings that help beneficiaries assess their health status, detect diseases early, and receive timely intervention. The screenings include blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, body mass index, fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
The campaign coincides with the holy month of Ramadan to encourage visits to primary healthcare centers and promote preventive health practices.
The initiative supports the
Saudi Model of Care, which is centered on family medicine in primary healthcare centers, improving access to high-quality healthcare services, ensuring continuity of care, reducing chronic diseases, and enhancing quality of life in line with
Saudi Vision 2030.
The Taakad campaign is part of a series of health initiatives implemented by health clusters across the Kingdom to promote health awareness and facilitate access to preventive healthcare services.
