The Public Health Agency, represented by the Vector-borne & Zoonotic Diseases General Department, has released a new book under the title: «Progress towards Malaria Elimination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: A Success Story», which has been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). The book sheds light on the success achieved by National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) in the Kingdom, highlighting all steps, strategies, and action plans implemented over the past decade resulting in malaria elimination almost throughout the Kingdom. The book, also, underlines the unstinting support of our wise government for NMCP, and how it remains as top priority for senior leadership.
It is worth mentioning that the book was co-authored by consultants and specialists form NMCP and a WHO expert.
