He pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has given his orders stipulating the expropriation of the land adjacent to King Faisal Hospital in Taif (the Obstetrics and Gynecology Tower) to the east, with a total of 300,000 square meters, for the establishment of the Children's Hospital and completing the annexes of the medical city, as well as allocating a set of lands in seaside near Taif University covering a total area of 4 million square meters for the establishment of Mental Health and Addiction Hospitals and one general hospital.

In addition, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has given his orders stipulating the expropriation of the land adjacent to North Jeddah Hospital, with an area of 116,000 square meters for the establishment of Maternity and Children's Hospital with a bed capacity of 400 beds. Besides, he has given his orders to allocate the car parking area surrounding the Eye Hospital in Jeddah, as an area of 3200 square meters adjacent to it, for the establishment of a medical tower with a bed capacity of 200 beds, at an area of 9600 square meters, in addition to starting the expansion procedures of King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah and the expropriation of land located to the north, west, and south of the hospital with a total area of 80.500 square meters.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah went on adding that these gracious directives come within the framework of the Royal Decrees stipulating the allocation and expropriation of land in favor of MOH’s projects, which reflect the concern of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his tremendous support for the health sector. This is obviously demonstrated from his gracious patronage of the recent inauguration and foundation-laying of several health projects at a cost of more than SR 12 billion. Dr. Rabeeah confirmed that the prudent directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in his address before the inauguration ceremony had a beautiful impact in the hearts of all MOH employees, considering them as crowns upon their heads and accolades of pride on their chests.

At the direction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Dr. Al-Rabeeah pointed out that the Ministry is keen on providing health services in a manner achieving inclusiveness, quality, justice, and easy access to the services, Allah willing. Thus, the Ministry is exerting utmost efforts to achieve that, and the benefits of these projects are expected to be gained over the next few years.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah extended,  in his own name and on behalf of all employees of the Ministry of Health and health sector, the deepest thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their support, attention and generous patronage of the health sector, which will be reflected, Allah willing, on the health services, and achieve the aspirations of the citizens  and meet their health needs, as well as fulfilling the sought-after objectives of health services.
