Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel met with Portuguese Minister of Health Ana Paula Martins during his official visit to Portugal. Both sides discussed ways to enhance health cooperation, exchange leading expertise, and develop qualitative partnerships in healthcare, innovation, and health transformation.
The ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between their ministries to strengthen health partnership, establish joint working frameworks, and exchange knowledge across key priority areas—including healthcare, innovation, and digital health—to boost healthcare delivery, efficiency, and sustainability in both countries.
The visit reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to expanding international health collaboration, driving innovation, and advancing global health. It also aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030 to build an integrated, efficient, and sustainable healthcare system.
