Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel met today with H.E. Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during his official visit to Uzbekistan, to discuss opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health and investment sectors.
The meeting explored opportunities to expand collaboration across several health priorities, including sustainable healthcare financing and the adoption of the “Health in All Policies” approach to strengthen cross-government coordination in achieving public health goals. Discussions also covered promoting preventive care and population health to support the development of more efficient and sustainable health systems in both countries.
The meeting reflects the Ministry of Health’s commitment to expanding high-quality, sustainable international partnerships, exchanging expertise, and transferring knowledge in support of the Health Sector Transformation Program under
Saudi Vision 2030, while further strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global partner in advancing the healthcare sector.
