Health Minister Begins Uzbekistan Visit to Boost Health Cooperation

​Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, will begin a two-day visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan tomorrow to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in healthcare, health technology, and health investment.
The visit program includes high-level official meetings with senior officials in the Republic of Uzbekistan, attended by a Saudi delegation representing both the public and private sectors. Discussions will focus on expanding cooperation and signing agreements across several areas, including healthcare, digital health transformation, training and development, opportunities to expand investment and partnerships between the two countries, health systems, universal health coverage, and joint research and studies.
The program also includes visits to several healthcare facilities, where the Minister will meet with health sector leaders to review advanced practices, exchange expertise, and explore new avenues for cooperation.
The visit reflects the growing partnership and close cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan and underscores both countries’ commitment to expanding collaboration in the health sector in ways that serve their shared interests.
