The
National Health Command and Control Center (NHCCC), affiliated with the Ministry of Health, has been designated as a
World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre. The designation reflects the Kingdom’s leadership in advancing innovative health system management models, promoting knowledge exchange, strengthening health policy development, and supporting early warning systems at the regional and international levels.
The designation builds on the Center’s advanced operational capabilities, which include 17 operations centers, 9 specialized committees, 19 operations rooms, more than 500 dashboards, 6 published research papers, and 37 health policies. These capabilities enhance the effectiveness of health emergency response and support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics.
The designation is valid for four years (2026–2030), during which the Center will support capacity building, advance health information systems, and strengthen the use of data in decision-making under a joint work plan with the World Health Organization.
This designation reflects the Kingdom’s advanced position in the health sector and reinforces its leadership in supporting global efforts to address health challenges. It also contributes to achieving the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under
Saudi Vision 2030 by enhancing preparedness and strengthening collaboration with international health organizations.
