Under the supervision of the Health Minister, and participation of King Saud Medical City and the First Health Cluster in Riyadh, the Hospital Affairs General Department has organized a first-of-its-kind workshop entitled: «Physician Productivity Measurement». The workshop aims to promote the healthcare services provided by the health system in order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom Vision. The initiative will be implemented in a number of central hospitals in Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Najran, Jazan, Tabuk, Taif and Hail regions.
The Assistant Deputy Minister for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said that the importance of the workshop lies in facilitating access to the service, reducing the waiting lists of surgeries and clinics and increasing the scientific and administrative efficiency of doctors in the first stage, and then will be applied to health practitioners and administrators in a later stage; thus improving the quality of healthcare services in the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that a number of specialists participated in the workshop activities. The attendees positively interacted with the workshop through their useful discussions.
