Hafr Al-Batin Central Hospital, in collaboration with King Fahad Specialist Hospital- Dammam, has started a program to develop the oncology department through scheduled visits to clinics to provide its services to cancer patients on a weekly basis. The hospital's medical team has launched intravenous chemotherapy, noting that the hospitals is providing the oral treatment for more than six months.
The program contributes to saving patients the burden of seeking treatment outside the region. Currently, the program provides solid tumor treatment and will be developed to include all types of tumors.
