Riyadh: «Tammeny» Initiative Launched

​​Riyadh Health Affairs has launched an Initiative: «Tammeny» (which means reassure me) for the development of obstetrics and gynecology departments in the region's hospitals. The initiative aims to train all obstetricians and gynecologists on the ultrasound machine, which is used for pregnancy diagnosis; the matter which will help improve the health services provided to pregnant women, prevent pregnancy complications, and reduce the pregnant women’s waiting time at radiology departments.

This initiative features six consecutive training courses for all gynecologists and obstetricians. These courses are being offered by distinct elite of consultants in obstetrics and gynecology, who are specialized in the field of embryos, in addition to consultants in radiology. Also, these courses are accredited with hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).

It is noteworthy that the first of these courses began last Sunday at Maternity and Children Hospital-Al-Kharj.
