According to Al-Qassim Health Affairs, over the first half of this year (2018), King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Buraidah performed more than 2,000 surgeries (at a rate of 330 per month) in various medical specialties, including general surgery, oncology, bariatric surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, in addition to one-day surgeries (with more than 100 at the outpatient operating room).
“The Surgery Department of the hospital cooperated in conducting 400 surgeries at Faisal bin Mishal Center for Infertility Treatment and 370 operations under conscious sedation at Endoscopy Department”, added the Affairs.
