According to Hafr Al-Batin Health Affairs, during the first half of this year (2018), its hospitals served 583, 000 outpatients and performed 3,797 surgeries. “Maternity and Children Hospital served 145,226 emergencies, 19,353 outpatients, 10,584 inpatients, as well as performing 2,121 surgeries and 3,715 birth cases. Also, King Khaled Hospital served 107,239 emergencies, 67,371 outpatients, 3,400 inpatients, as well as conducting 1,095 surgeries and 8,255 dialysis sessions at Prince Sultan Kidney Center,” stated the Affairs.
The Affairs added: “Hafr Al-Batin Central Hospital served 83,104 emergencies, 27,432 outpatients, 1,988 inpatients, in addition to 502 surgeries. While Al-Qaisumah General Hospital served 77,240 emergencies, 8,107 outpatients, 188 inpatients, in addition to 780 dialysis sessions. Likewise, Al-Su‘airah Hospital served 15,443 emergencies, 427 outpatients, 79 inpatients, in addition to 96 surgeries. Finally, the Long-Term Care Hospital conducted 863 home visits and 958 physiotherapy sessions.”
