The Ministry of Health (MOH) has further intensified its preparations to provide healthcare services to pilgrims during Hajj season of 1439H., and announced completion of 12 health control centers at air, sea and land access points. These centers are enhanced with more than 1,750 medical staff and 19 clinics, to provide their services to pilgrims 24/7.
According to MOH, theses centers carryout a number of tasks including verifying pilgrims' health certificates, providing preventive treatment for meningitis, medical clearance certificates for means of transportation and raising pilgrims' awareness. In addition, the centers provide emergency and ambulatory medical services to pilgrims and referral of patients to specialist hospitals using well-equipped ambulances.
