The Ministry of Health (MOH) is activating drug information centers tasks, including responding to drug inquiries from healthcare providers and the public via the 937-Service Center 24/7, managing and updating MOH's Formulary (Drug List), approving treatment plans, ensuring safe and effective use of medicine, as well as establishing and activating drug information centers in all Kingdom's hospitals and activating and following up MOH's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
In this context, Pharmaceutical Care General Department, Riyadh has organized a 3-day training course entitled "Drug Information Centers", with the participation of more than 50 pharmacists from all kingdom's regions.
The course aims to identify the latest for activating the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee in hospitals and directorates including new forms, existing mechanism and drug evaluation.
