Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2018 Starts

​Under the patronage of H. E. the Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah and in the presence of the Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development Mr. Fahad Al-Jalajel, the Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2018 launched in Riyadh today (Monday), under the theme "Simulation … Supporting Healthcare Transformation''. In its inaugural speech the higher committee reviewed the scientific program and conference's topics, then the audience watched a live simulation of handling an emergency case. After that, Al-Jalajel honored the conference's participants and sponsors.  


He also inaugurated the accompanying exhibition and toured its different pavilions including the Ministry of Health's sectors and other governmental health sectors, medical centers and agencies as well as companies and establishments. This was followed by the scientific program and workshops specialized in training presented by a number of speakers from inside and outside the Kingdom. 
In addition to the specialized workshops, the conference held a specialized scientific session on simulation in nursing and discussed latest researches and best standards of education strategies for health practitioners and academics in various nursing fields. 

The conference is accredited locally by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) with 32 hours of continuous medical education (CME), it also was approved by four international simulation organizations including International Society for Simulation in Healthcare, European Society for Health Simulation, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and International Nursing Association for Simulation and Learning.
