MOH Organizes Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2018

​​Under the theme "Simulation … Supporting Health Care Transformation", the Ministry of Health (MOH) will organize the Saudi Health Simulation Conference 2018 over the period from April 23rd-25th, 2018 at Four Seasons Hotel, Riyadh.


This year conference aims to integrate simulation in postgraduate curriculum, nursing sciences and medical education, as well as simulation technologists professional development to achieve system integration. The intensive scientific program also includes 50 papers by international and local speakers, 22 specialized workshops on simulation-based training for all health professionals, as well as a number of scientific activities such as: "Sim Dawri Contest", Action'ha Ya Tech Contest" and "SimMoulage Contest". Also, on the sidelines of the conference, a massive voluntary initiative will be held to train all community members on ways to save lives.

It is noteworthy that the conference is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) with 32 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME), and by four international simulation organizations, namely: the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine (SESAM), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning.
