Riyadh: Over 118,000 Emergencies Served by Wadi Al-Dawasir Hospital in 1438H.

According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the past year (1438H.), Wadi Al-Dawasir Hospital served 160,443 emergencies and outpatients. 

The Affairs pointed out that the hospital served 118,262 emergencies (116,280 emergencies and poisoning cases, 1,330 surgeries and injuries, 652 traffic accident casualties) and 42,181 outpatients. The hospital also served 6,546 inpatients at different departments, with 724 inpatients at ICUs (530 at adult ICU and 194 at pediatric ICU).

“During the same period, the hospital performed 1,426 surgeries (860 major, 459 minor and 107 one-day surgeries), 29,289 diagnostics (25,37 lab tests and 4,252 x-ray examinations), 10,697 dialysis sessions, 1,911 birth cases, in addition to 1,215 donated blood units. The hospital has a 51-bed capacity (24 at inpatient wards and 27 at adult and pediatric ICU)”, added the Affairs.
