The 6th Session of the OIC Health Ministers Conference will be launched tomorrow (Wednesday) morning in Jeddah under the theme: «Health in All Polices», with the participation of delegations headed by Health Ministries from the OIC member states and regional and international observer organizations. They will discuss a host of reports on the implementation of the Strategic Health Program of Action (2014-2023).
Also, the event’s agenda will feature speeches by His Excellency the Saudi Health Minister, Chairman of the Sixth Session, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Turkish Health Minister, Chairman of the Fifth Session, and the OIC Secretary General. Then, it will be followed by a panel discussion to adopt the terms of reference of the Lead Country Coordinators groups and the Steering Committee on Health in the OIC Member States, and to place the public health as the top priority in all laws and legislations to raise competencies and to achieve the desired outcomes of the conference.
