According to Makkah Health Affairs General Directorate, its hospitals recorded during Ramadan more than 5,000 inpatients, (including 285 Umrah performers) and 95,856 emergency cases (with 22,372 Umrah performers). Over the same period, 5,981 hemodialysis sessions (with 926 for Umrah performers), 542,626 lab tests and 117 endoscopy procedures, (including 12 for Umrah performers), were done, in addition to 48,241 cases (with 1,305 Umrah performers) at outpatient clinics.
