Dr. Habbash: Ibn Sina Hospital Provides Supportive Medical Services to Pilgrims

Director of Ibn Sina Hospital in Hedaa, the Holy City of Makkah, Dr. Muhammad Habbash, stated that the hospital receives referred cases from the City's hospitals, in order to make beds of Makkah's hospitals available for pilgrims.

He added that the supportive medical services provided to citizens, residents and pilgrims include pharmaceutical, radiological and laboratory services, in addition to physiotherapy.

Also, a prevention clinic has been prepared to receive and handle related cases, and provide vaccines of meningitis and influenza for targeted groups around the clock. Additionally, there is a highly qualified medical team, composed of a resident physician, a nurse and an ambulance to deal with any emergency - Allah forbid - as requested by the Makkah Health Affairs Directorate.

Dr. Habbash said that the outpatient clinics deal with several specialties, such as internal medicine, rheumatism, dermatology and general surgery, in addition to pediatric clinic. According to Habbash, clinics are open for citizens, residents and pilgrims from Dhul-Hijjah 1st-15th, 1436H, 08.00 am to 08.00 pm.  

He pointed out that the hospital's emergency section works 24/7, and that it is well equipped to deal with emergency cases, and refer cases in need for hospitalization to Al-Noor Specialist Hospital.
