Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, the Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference – 2013 are to be held over the period from 12th to 14th May, 2013 (corresponding to 2nd to 4th Rajab, 1434H) at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).
The Deputy Minister of Health for Medical Supply and Engineering Affairs, Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou, emphasized that public health sectors manages a greater portion of the health care sector in the Kingdom; as the Ministry of Health operates more than 250 hospitals and covers more than 60% of health services in the Kingdom. That makes the Kingdom one of the biggest and most distinguished health care markets in the Middle East.
Dr. Salah Al-Mazrou placed particular emphasis on the strategic importance of the upcoming “Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference – 2013”, considering it as an integral initiative to support the Ministry’s strategy to improve medical and health services in the Kingdom.
He added, “The Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference is an opportunity to view the systems, infrastructure, and private facilities in the health care sector, besides hospitals; in the presence of a wide group of visitors and previewers from all over the world to facilitate the attraction of shared business opportunities. Furthermore, the Exhibition allows a direct accessibility to the latest existent improvements in the health industry worldwide. That is for the purpose of making strategic partnerships among the fields’ specialists locally and internationally, and contributing to bridging the gap between consumers and manufacturers. The Ministry of Health gives this Exhibition a great attention as it is expected to play an important role in supporting the continuous developments of health care services in the Kingdom and meeting the aspirations of the readiness of the future hospitals and health services in the Kingdom.
Dr. Al-Mazrou pointed out that launching the “Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference – 2013” is deemed to be the biggest international health care event in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia, since it provides a comprehensive communication platform that aims to carry on the efforts exerted by the Government to support the health care sector.
