Minister of Health Lauds the Ministry of Finance's Support for “My Referral Program”

   His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has lauded the colossal support and generous patronage shown by the Ministry of Finance to “My Referral Program” (Ehalati) yet to be launched by the Ministry of Health over the coming few months, by approving its first stage.
 
According to Dr. Al-Rabeeah, this new project will ensure transporting patients to the appropriate place, in due time. It is hopeful, and expected, the program will be a unique one throughout the entire region. The necessary preparations and training of the three-phase program are in full swing now. It is a self-employment program, and is expected to be accomplished in eighteen months time.
 
This announcement was made by His Excellency the Minister of Health in a press statement after the 6th Meeting of the MOH Executive Board, held under his chairmanship on Sunday, September 2nd, 2012.
 
Describing “My Referral Program” (Ehalati), Al-Rabeeah said, “It is a national project providing beneficial services for all health sectors, by ensuring a feasible electronic workflow.”
 
Attendees reviewed a number of the Ministry's recent achievements, and discussed the new projects, making clear that everyone has to do his best to accomplish such projects on time.
 
In addition, they came across a number of the topics on the agenda; those that have to do with policies and procedures of the organization of departments, and activation of constitutional work. They also tackled the codes and regulations of the medical commissions' work. In doing so, the Board seeks to facilitate communication between patients and the Ministry.
 
Besides, the meeting shed particular light on the pivotal importance of medical research, and how to make best use of the Ministry's initiatives and authenticate them on the global scale.
