His Excellency, Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah has announced that the pilgrims' health status is secure and satisfactory, and that no epidemic-disease cases have been recorded among them; pointing out that the Ministry of Health keeps a watchful eye on them, and has already equipped the entry portals with the needed precautions.
During the meeting of the Hajj Preparation Committees, held today under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health, at the MOH Headquarters, Dr. Al-Rabeeah extended to them the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and prompted them to do their best and put themselves at the service of the guest of Allah. Meantime, he wished them further progress and greater success.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah revealed that the Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, His Royal Highness Second Deputy Prime Minister, has directed all the competent sectors to effectively work in cooperation with the Ministry, with a view to providing the best possible health services for the pilgrims. For that purpose, he added, more than 20.000 health-workers, of all medical, technical and administrative levels, have been enlisted. Also, the workforce of preventive medicine, in Madinah, has been reinforced with 107 new posts, aside from the 586 posts added to the health workforce supporting Madinah.
