MOH Conducts 50 Inspection Tours through the Holy Places' Hospitals and Health Centers

   The Follow-up and Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Health has continued its inspection tours through the health sectors affiliated to the Ministry of Health (MOH) in the Holy Places, with the aim to ensure the technical and administrative readiness, including efficiency of the devices and equipment, availability of medicines, and the presence of the workforce.
The Director-General of Follow-up, Head of Follow-up and Evaluation Committee in Hajj, Dr. Mohammed bin Jamma'n Abu- Habshah has expounded that, so far, the committee has carried out more than 50 inspection tours, including 96 health centers and 7 hospitals. The committee has given its directions to make every effort to solve and avert any problems in coordination with the competent authorities, and to ascertain the validity of medical devices and the efficiency of their operation.
Dr. Mohammed bin Jamma'n Abu Habshah said that the committee has assigned 5 field teams to conduct daily tours. At the end of the day, an integrated report is on all the observations problems is prepared. In case there are any problems, a corrective committee handles it immediately.
Talking of the corrective committee, Abu Habshah said that it works under the supervision of the Follow-up General Department and Health services for the Hajj and Umrah General Department.
The Director-General of Follow-up at the Ministry of Health stressed that the committee aims to ensure the readiness of health facilities in the Holy Places to provide high-quality curative and medical services for the guests of Allah.
