Minister of Health Makes an Inspection Tour through Health Facilities in Jeddah

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has conducted an inspection tour through a number of health facilities in Jeddah, accompanied by a constellation of undersecretaries of the Ministry of Health, among other officials.

Eastern Jeddah Hospital, which is still under construction, was the starting point of the tour. Dr. Al-Rabeeah met with contractor and briefed on the latest updates in the construction process, prompting to make every effort to get the hospital ready as soon as possible.

It followed that the Minister paid a visit to King Abdulaziz Hospital, where he toured through the Rehabilitation Section, as well as the Artificial Limbs and Prosthetics sections. He also listened to an elaborate commentary on the way and period of treatment using the advanced Oxygen advanced appliance, intended for usage in drowning and burning cases, in addition to curing diabetes.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah, then, checked on a number of inpatients, listened to their feedback on the services provided for them, and wished them speedy recovery.

After that, Dr. Al-Rabeeah moved to the Regional Laboratory, where he toured through its sections, and listened to a commentary made by Dr. Saeed bin Mohammad Al-Amoudi, Director of Laboratories and Blood Banks, and Supervisor of Jeddah Regional Laboratory, on the services provided by the Laboratory, as well as the mechanism of action of the Premarital Screening Section, and the average number of cases frequenting it per year.

As the tour drew to a close, His Excellency the Minister of Health thanked the Laboratory staff for their efforts, and urged them to do their best in pursuit of providing the best, highest and fullest healthcare services for those in need of it.
