The Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Health (MoH) signed a memorandum of cooperation today at the Public Prosecution’s headquarters, in the presence of Public Prosecutor H.E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah AlMujib and Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel. The agreement aims to align jurisdictions, strengthen coordination in joint criminal cases, and reinforce judicial protection of human health, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Building on a long-standing partnership established in 2019, the memorandum seeks to elevate collaboration across investigation and evidence-gathering processes, unify shared legal procedures, and advance reporting mechanisms, while enhancing digital integration between the two entities. The agreement also encompasses support for research initiatives, exchange of information of mutual interest, and capacity building through joint training programs and specialized workshops designed to enhance performance and expedite the resolution of health-related cases with direct societal impact.
This strategic cooperation underscores the continued institutional integration between the two entities and reflects an advanced model of joint government action. It contributes to strengthening the healthcare ecosystem, elevating service quality, enhancing operational efficiency, and advancing the principles of swift and effective justice.
