The Health Holding Company has unveiled the steps for benefiting from the “Taakkad” initiative, a national preventive program designed to strengthen early disease detection and promote a proactive approach to health. The initiative facilitates access to fast, accurate, and reliable screening services, in alignment with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
Through the initiative, beneficiaries can seamlessly book preventive screening appointments via the “Sehhaty” application by selecting an in-person appointment, choosing “Taakkad Clinic – Adult Triage (35 years and above),” and confirming their preferred date and time electronically. The initiative is currently implemented across all health clusters in Riyadh and is delivered through well-organized drive-through service pathways, ensuring efficiency and ease of access.
“Taakkad” offers three structured preventive screening packages tailored to meet diverse health needs. The Basic Package focuses on screening for common chronic and metabolic conditions, including diabetes, lipid disorders, high blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI). The Basic Plus Package expands preventive care through advanced screenings for early detection of selected cancers and bone health conditions, including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and bone density assessments.
An Advanced Package is set to launch soon, introducing specialized screenings based on genomics, proteomics, and lifestyle analysis. This forward-looking approach aims to enhance health risk prediction and support long-term well-being and quality of life.
The Health Holding Company reaffirmed its commitment to advancing innovative preventive initiatives that elevate healthcare system efficiency and improve population health outcomes, encouraging those interested to explore further details through the official initiative
