The National Health Emergency Operation Center (NHEOC) received the Silver Award for Excellence in Managing Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Operations, as part of the annual awards granted by the National Risk Council to distinguished entities in this field, aiming to enhance institutional capabilities in risk prevention, planning, and preparedness.
The award recognized the Center’s efforts in strengthening healthcare sector readiness and enhancing its ability to effectively respond to emergency incidents, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030, as well as the “Ambitious Nation” pillar aimed at improving government performance and resilience in facing challenges.
The National Health Emergency Operation Center operates an integrated 24/7 operations center and activates operational models for monitoring, early warning, incident reporting, response tracking, and accurate information exchange with relevant entities, ensuring rapid emergency handling and supporting decision-making at all levels to strengthen sustainable health security.
