Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel held high-level meetings during his official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany to strengthen health cooperation, advance digital innovation, and localize medical technologies in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030.
He met with German counterpart Nina Warken to explore cooperation in public health, biomedical research, and innovation. The discussions also included meetings with the Federal Joint Committee and the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, reviewing Germany’s advanced regulatory frameworks and risk assessment practices, and a visit to Bayer headquarters to discuss pharmaceutical innovation opportunities.
The Minister participated in a roundtable organized by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting health investment opportunities and research partnerships. He also witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding by NUPCO with several German companies to strengthen supply chains and localize technologies.
During the visit, he met Saudi scholarship students at the Saudi Embassy in Berlin, praising their role in supporting the health transformation journey and reaffirming the leadership’s commitment to investing in human capital.
