Riyadh is gearing up to host the 8th edition of the Global Health Exhibition 2025, under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, amid a period of dynamic growth for Saudi Arabia’s health sector, growth that mirrors the ambitions of Vision 2030 to deliver world-class care and drive a thriving health economy.
The sector’s contribution to the national GDP is projected to soar from SAR 199 billion in 2020 to SAR 318 billion by 2030, while private-sector participation is expected to double to SAR 145 billion, underscoring the Ministry’s determined efforts to create a competitive investment ecosystem, empower strategic partnerships, and advance localization in health industries.
With a focus on biotechnology, vaccine production, medical manufacturing, research, and digital health, Saudi Arabia is unlocking opportunities valued at over SAR 130 billion by 2040, cementing its position as a regional and global hub for healthcare innovation and investment.
The Ministry of Health continues to strengthen investor confidence through milestone partnerships established during previous editions of the Exhibition. The 2024 edition alone witnessed investments exceeding SAR 50 billion, including a SAR 4 billion pharmaceutical manufacturing deal between Nupco, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi; a SAR 5 billion expansion by Fakeeh Care Group; and acquisitions exceeding SAR 4 billion by Dallah Health. These landmark deals pave the way for even greater collaborations in pharma localization, AI-driven health technologies, and next-generation digital solutions at the upcoming 2025 edition.
Scheduled from October 27 to 30, the Global Health Exhibition 2025 is expected to attract leading Saudi, regional, and international companies, poised to sign transformative agreements that will redefine the future of healthcare in the Kingdom, aligning with the Ministry’s pursuit of self-sufficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Through this momentum, the Ministry of Health reaffirms its vision to position the Exhibition as a premier investment catalyst driving Vision 2030’s transformation goals, advancing a resilient, innovative, and globally competitive healthcare system for the Kingdom.
